Who we are

JobNow is a job marketplace that connects job seekers with employers in Qatar. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is designed to follow Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016).

What we collect

Your mobile number (to sign you in with a one-time code). For job seekers: your name, nationality, age, gender, languages, the jobs you want, experience, expected salary, whether you need accommodation (live-in or live-out), whether you hold a valid QID, driving licences, availability and preferred work areas. For employers: company name, Commercial Registration (CR) number, the authorised person and the jobs you post. We also keep applications, reports you make, and basic security logs.

Why we use it

To create your profile, show you matching jobs and explain each match score, send your application to the employer you choose, verify employers, keep the service safe (fraud, spam and abuse prevention), and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

Who can see your data

Employers only see your profile after you apply to their job. Your phone number and WhatsApp are shown to an employer only when they open the contact details of an application you sent them, and each time this happens it is recorded. Our service providers (Supabase for secure cloud hosting, Twilio for SMS codes) process data for us under contract.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your profile, applications and jobs immediately; security logs that do not contain your profile are kept for up to 12 months.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile at any time, withdraw consent, and delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete my account). You can also contact us to access, correct or delete your data, or to complain.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by row-level security, and sign-in uses one-time codes sent to your phone.

Age

JobNow is only for people aged 18 or older.
